Outlook “Waiting For” Add-In

Have you ever wondered why you can attach a follow-up flag to mail items you receive, but there is no way (other than assigning tasks or managing additional folders manually) to see for which emails that you sent you are still waiting for a response?

It basically adds two buttons to the mail window to activate/deactivate the “Waiting For” status, and it creates a search folder that will show items tagged as “Waiting For” from your Sent Items and Inbox folders.

Unlike the follow-up flag you cannot associate a date, which may be room for improvement. But anyway: this is simple, but very efficient! It certainly helps me organize my emails better.

Seems to work in Outlook 2003 and 2007, not sure about 2010.
